Photographed the East Village to give the good people who read this blog a more concrete idea of my visual environment here in New York City.

Jan 10th - Went out to Williamsburg on the L Train to photograph Jonny Wilson from video mashup artists ‘Eclectic Method’ in the New York winter snow. Brooklyn was eerily empty, it felt like a film set from one of those post-apocalypse B-Movies. I love the fact that cineclectic affords me the opportunity to get creative in photographing the artists/experimenters we profile and network.

Scheduled more interviews and meetings for cineclectic. Uploaded images to Flickr. 2009 has started well.
Jan 13th - Got the L train to Williamsburg again to attend the Vimeo Offline event in Monkey Town Restaurant, 58 N 3rd St (btw. Kent & Wythe), Williamsburg, Brooklyn 11211.
The event was a ‘realworld’ screening (on 4 projection screens) of the best short films uploaded to the site, as chosen by the Vimeo staff. I met with Blake Whitman, Community Director of this cutting edge online video network. For those of you who don’t know, Vimeo is a thriving community of people who love to make and share video.
